WA Opens Success

The WA Team have completed one of our most successful Open Championship results in recent years, finishing with 3 Gold and 2 Bronze Medals at the 2017 Australian Open Championships in Sydney.

Maddison Keeney fell just short of a rare springboard sweep today, taking the Bronze medal in the Womens 3m Springboard with a score of 332.90 behind Syncro partner Anabelle Smith (VIC 344.50) and Esther Qin (NSW 347.15). Tamara Irvine improved on her Semi Final form, finishing 7^th with a score of 256.20.

Keeney is now well placed to gain potential selection for the upcoming 16^th FINA World Championships in Hungary later in July this year.

The Championships conclude tonight with the Diving Australia Annual Dinner.
