Published Tue 15 Nov 2016

Eliza Cole and Allex Ferraz have returned to Perth with some excess luggage, following a very successful 2016 Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games held on the Gold Coast from the 5th-13th November 2016.

The 10th Biennial edition of the Games saw 15,239 participants from Australia and overseas compete across 43 sports.

Eliza Cole, dubbed the "Diving Doctor", went one better from her results in 2014 and finished with 4 Gold medals in the 1m and 3m Springboard, Platform and Synchro events.

Allex Ferraz also starred with 3 Silver medals in the 1m Springboard, Platform and Synchro events, along with a Bronze medal in the 3m Springboard.

Both Eliza and Allex now return to WA and back to their regular coaching in the Adults/Teens (Eliza) and Entry (Allex) squads.

Eliza told Angela Bacic from the Jupiters Pan Pacific Master Games event that the event, "was one of the most enjoyable competitions we've been to as a team because we bonded a lot.”

She is hoping next year more divers from WA, particularly those form the Adults/Teens program will attend the next installment of the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games: “I just hope everyone will come. I will come back with a big team next time.”
