Diving WA are looking to recruit a number of people onto the team to support and ensure Diving WA continues to be an inclusive, safe and fair environment for all our members.

Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO)

Diving WA has a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of abuse, bullying, harassment, or discrimination. The safety of participants, volunteers, and officials is central to our goal to provide enjoyable and rewarding experiences.

The role of the MPIO is to listen to members, triage problems, and help find the right place to resolve any issues that may arise, whether it’s lodging a complaint or checking the rights and responsibilities of a Diving WA member within our sport.

Training is provided both online and in person

Mental Health Champion (volunteer role)

Mental Health Champions lead the way in creating and promoting supportive environments to help achieve positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes for their sporting organisation and members.   Mental Health Champions are not expected to become a mental health expert but are available to direct members to appropriate resources and services
