Risk Review Workshop
Published Fri 12 Feb 2021
Following workshops and implementation of our Risk Management Plan in 2016/17, Diving WA is about to undertake a review of this plan, and our exposure to risk across all activities and operations.
The association owes a duty of care to participants where there is a reasonably foreseeable risk of harm or injury as a result of our actions. Diving WA must take reasonable steps to reduce the likelihood of injury and damage, both to the association and our participants where foreseeable. We must also now be aware of the risks a pandemic can have on our members and programs.
The Risk Review Workshop has been postponed and Diving WA will work through additional ways we can involve and engage members in this process.
All members, staff and volunteers are invited to join the Diving WA Governance and Risk Committee and CEO to participate in the workshop. The session will be facilitated by the Committee and some experience in Risk Management would be ideal, but not essential.
