Pacific School Games - Day 4 update
Published Thu 26 Nov 2015
Pacific School Games - updates from WA Team coach Mike Tinley- Day 4
Wednesday saw 5 of our divers competing.
Highlights were Sophie Debenham, girls 13-14 Synchro.
Sophie Did a great job in the 16 yrs girls 1m coming 7th showing the field and judges her potential.
Caroline and Olivia did a great job both scoring well individually as well as being in synch. They came 13th out of a field of 22 and just need some dd to be really competitive.
We also saw our bronze medalist Jack Reynolds dive in the boys 10 yrs 1m. He came 6th. We were all excited to see him do his back sault which he struggled with through the week.
We are half way through the week and the divers are getting a good feel what its like to be at a major event and how important it is to rest when you can and take advantage of any down time that's offered.
The weather has been great apart from a light shower in the afternoon on Wednesday.
Regards,
Mike Tinley
