Keeney looking to bounce back

Maddison Keeney had worked her way back into medal contention after a slow start to the final of the 1m springboard at the FINA World Championships in Kazan, only to misjudge her take-off on her final dive to return a no score. The failed dive, easily her most difficult and potentially her biggest scoring, meant Keeney finished 12th, with Fellow Aussie Esther Qin finishing 5th.
Keeney will be looking to bounce back in the 3m springboard prelims on Friday, and will also contest the mixed 3m synchro with Victorian James Connor on Sunday.
