Granland Gold

Ellyarn Granland has taken the Gold (184.50) and Jade Rousseau the Bronze (176.00) in the NEPP Level 2 event on Day 2 of the 2018 Australian Elite Junior Championships in Hobart.

This capped off a great day for the WA athletes which saw the team come away with 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze.

Chelsea Bosch continued her great form from Day 1, taking another Bronze (405.70) in the Girls Junior B 3m. Zoe Langtry also performed well to finish 6th (389.45).

Hayley Galvin narrowly missed the medals in the Girls Junior C Platform, finishing 4th (281.15), along with Georgia Williams in 6th (273.40) and Jemima Officer 14th (238.85).

The Junior Girls also had their Springboard Synchro and Zoe Langtry, with partner Kate Rosman (SA) finished 5th (233.40), while Georgia Williams and partner Stella Forsyth (VIC) finished 11th (179.04). The all WA pairing of Hayley Galvin and Jemima Officer finished 6th (225.06).

Last but not least, Eva Ryan and Olivia Maitland dived exceptionally well to claim Silver in the NEPP Level 1 Synchro. Brooke Carter and Aubrie Walker also finished 5th (103.50) and Eleanor Williams and Sarah Boulton finished 6th (101.70).

The Championships conclude tomorrow and WA athletes will be competing in the NEPP Level 2 Synchro, Girls Junior A Platform, Girls Junior B 1m and Girls Junior C 3m.
