Published Mon 10 Apr 2017

Day 1 of the 2017 Australian Age Championships in Adelaide has kicked off with a bang, with the WA athletes claiming 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.

15 athletes featured across 7 events on a busy opening day of competition. A high quality of diving was seen throughout the day and sets up a fantastic few more days of competition. A full list of the WA results are below. Congratulations to all athletes on today’s performances.

Yesterday also saw another great result in the State Team Challenge, with Tianna Furness, Sam Tulk and Eloise Miller teaming up to take out 3rd. This was a fantastic achievement with the team only being able to field 3 of the 4 age groups.

The action continues tomorrow and can be followed live via diverecorder.
