GOLD TRIFECTA FOR COLE

Eliza Cole has made it three from three, claiming her third Gold medal in the Women's 25-29 age group, 10 metre Platform Final at the 16th FINA World Masters Championships in Kazan last week.

Cole dived her way to the best result of the day, with a final score of 331.40. This, along with her other Gold medal performances in the 1 metre and 3 metre springboard events impressed many, including the local media, calling her the "breakthrough of the Masters tournament”.

Cole said: "I’m having an incredible time in Kazan! I'm really happy with all my diving and results."

Diving WA CEO Steven Rose said that, “this was a great result for Eliza who has been training hard for this event and we congratulate on her outstanding achievement”.

“It is fantastic to see WA divers competing strongly on the international stage and we are looking forward to Eliza returning home and competing in our upcoming events”.
