Emma Lynch to join NSWIS diving coaching team

Published Tue 02 Oct 2018

Emma Lynch has accepted a coaching position with the NSWIS Diving Program and will begin there next week.

Emma said that she is, “excited for the chance to work with many of Australia’s leading diving athletes, coaches and performance teams in Sydney."

“I can’t thank Diving Western Australia enough for understanding and supporting such a unique opportunity for personal development and, of course, NSWIS for allowing me to continue contributing to Australian Diving.”

While Emma will be missed by everyone in the WA Diving community, we are excited for her to take a position with an institute program and contribute to developing the next generation of Australian divers.

The move also has presented opportunities for WA coaches to progress in the pathway here. Sophie Debenham will be working with the State Talent Program, and Tamara Irvine and Tianna Furness will be working with the Emerging Talent Program from Term 4 2018.

Congratulations to the girls and we look forward to them working further with the STP and ETP athletes.

There will be a farewell BBQ to see Emma off and wish her well before she heads to Sydney this Saturday 6th October (details below):
