Terri has delved into the history of Diving WA to tell our unique story, which she reflects in her exclusive design. Waterholes are sacred to the Aboriginal people. Terri’s design reflects two waterholes with journey lines connecting them. These journey lines represent the water that flows into these waterholes, which are the place where divers create magic when diving into the water. There are symbols that represent the different levels of boards and platforms in relation to diving and the “U” shape is the symbol for a person. For example, there are five symbols for the river, wavy lines symbolise the five-meter platform, three-meter platform symbolised by the three rock holes and 10 people symbolising the 10-meter platform. |
