Diving WA Coach Development Manager
Published Tue 02 Feb 2016
Joe Meszaros has made the decision to head home to the UK, finishing in his role with Diving WA as of Saturday 20th February 2016.
An opportunity has been presented to Joe to continue coaching back home in the UK, allowing him to be closer to his family.
Joe has played an integral role in building up the National Elite Pathway programs in WA and in the structural reform, working with and developing all coaches, divers and programs. Joe will be sadly missed by all and we wish him all the best for the future. There will always be a home here in WA for Joe. Please wish Joe the best of luck if and when you see him.
We are also pleased to announce that a replacement for the role has also been found in Kim Hynynen-Furler.
Kim will be a familiar face and name to many in the WA Diving community with her previous involvement with the Arrows Diving Club. Kim has spent the last four years in Victoria as the Head Coach of Ringwood Diving Club and Methodist Ladies’ College, overseeing a team of 7 coaches and coaching School, Age and Elite divers.
We look forward to Kim returning to WA and continuing to build and oversee the coaches, divers and programs here, along with coaching the NEPP squad.
Kim is scheduled to start during the week of the 15th February 2016. Be sure to welcome Kim when you see her on pool deck.
