Davallia Primary and Shenton College take out Champion Schools
Published Mon 19 Mar 2018
Davallia Primary School and Shenton College have taken out the Primary and Secondary Champion Schools at the School Sport WA Diving Championships, held on Tuesday 13th March at HBF Stadium, Mount Claremont.
In the competitions second year, 123 students from 18 schools took part, more than triple the number of participants in the first year.
The event featured a clinic in the morning for non-experienced divers with the Diving WA coaches, followed by the competition.
Diving WA CEO Steven Rose said that, "it was fantastic to see so many students and schools represented at this years event. We are already thinking forward to next years competition and are hoping to work closely with all of the schools at this years competition, and further schools who may be interested in taking part."
"The association has enjoyed working with School Sport WA around this event and we look forward to working with them further, in particular the lead up to the 2018 School Sport Australia Diving Championships, taking place here in Perth in September."
"Congratulations to everyone who took part in the event and thank you to all of the teachers, school helpers, diving volunteers and coaches."
A full list of results can be found here and on the School Sport WA website.
