On Sunday, the State Government released further information regarding the easing of restrictions from Monday 18^th May. Included in this was the return of non-contact community sports up to 20 people, indoor and outdoor fitness classes with minimal shared equipment up to 20 people and the opening of public pools (1 indoor and 1 outdoor) under strict rules.

We are waiting for more information from VenuesWest regarding what this potentially means for the dive pool at HBF Stadium. Once we receive further information, we will update members.

Some of you may also be aware that there was another leak recently identified in the dive pool, with works being underway to repair this plus additional maintenance during this period. Works have almost been completed and the pool will then be refilled and then require sign off/approval from the Health Department. Best case scenario this will likely see the dive pool not available until the week of the 25^th May.

While we want to see all squads and programs return as soon as possible, to ensure the health and safety of our members and families (and under the current restrictions) we will need to do this in a phased process also. Once we have more information on the pool access, we will then make members aware when training will resume and initially for which squads and programs.
