Contact Tracing - Diving
Published Mon 30 Nov 2020
To all members,
From Wednesday 2nd December HBF Stadium will commence trialling contact tracing, with full operation by Saturday 5th December.
All members are requested to download the SafeWA app prior to arriving at HBF Stadium for training/events.
SafeWA can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The Department of Health’s SafeWA App ensures businesses and venues have a unique QR code for patrons to scan and register their attendance.
While the contact register does not officially take effect until Saturday 5the December, HBF Stadium are using this time to trial this new process and ensure all visitors can enter the venue with as little inconvenience as possible.
To avoid delays we strongly encourage you to download the app before you arrive and for express entry scan the QR code on your way into the venue so you can show your electronic receipt as you enter.
Please follow the directions and signage at each entrance point and there will be staff available to assist.
For those people who do not have access to a smart phone or the app, a manual sign in process will be available at all entrance points.
Any person aged 16 and over who enters HBF Stadium will be required to register their contact details. This includes patrons, volunteers and contractors.
Please allow extra time for the contact tracing check as you enter HBF Stadium.
Please note: data from the app will be encrypted at the point of capture, stored securely and is only accessible by authorised Department of Health contact tracing personnel should COVID-19 tracing be needed. This means the Department of Health can “trace” quicker and keep people safe.
The data that will be collected includes your name, telephone number, location, date and arrival time in which your information will be kept for 28 days.
Any questions or queries dont hesitate to contact me and we thank you for your understanding, cooperation and patiance with this process.
Regards,
Diving WA
