Team of x8 travel to Syndey
A team of 7 Diving WA athletes, coached by Kim, have travelled with their famillies to compete in the 2023 School Sport Australia Championships, at the iconic Sydney Olympic Park pool as part of the SSWA 2023 Diving Team. The Diving WA athletes qualified for the national event earlier in the year during the State School Sports WA competiton.
The focal point of School Sport Australia activities is the interstate competitions offered at both primary and secondary levels (ages 10-19 years old). The national event is a culmination of state based programs and offer the gifted and talented students the opportunity to participate in higher levels of sporting competition. These events are an integral part of the School Sport Australia program, not only for their sporting benefits, but also for the immense educational, cultural and social benefits they provide for the participant
Please join us in wishing all the divers well for the coming week with their busy schedules and keep an eye out on this page and our social media platforms for result updates
