2021 Australian Age Diving Championships - Day 1 WA Results

The 2021 Australian Age Diving Championships are underway!

With the previous border lockdowns and quarantines it wasnt possible for our athletes to be at the championships in Brisbane in person.

Thankfully with the help of Diving Australia and the other states, the WA team were granted approval to compete from home, with their dives recorded and submitted the day prior (under competition standards), and the event judges would judge these prior to there event on the day in Brisbane. This has allowed our athletes to still be fully involved and incorporated in the competition.

Day 1 WA Results:

Girls 14/15yrs 1m Springboard

Gemma Goldie – 16th - 207.50 (First Nationals)

Makisha Smith – 22nd - 197.80

Monet Spirek – 25th - 190.60

Serena Lee - 27th - 177.90 (First Nationals)

Womens 35-49yrs 3m Springboard

Eliza Cole – GOLD - 188.85
