2018 School Sport Australia Diving Championships - Day 5

WA has finished a successful competition on Day 5 of the 2018 School Sport Australia Diving Championships in Perth.
The final day of competition saw the Synchro events contests, with WA coming away with 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze:
The WA team finishes one of their most successful School Sport Australia Championships with 4 Gold, 11 Silver and 12 Bronze Medals.
Congratulations to Sam Fricker (NSW), Emily Pearson (NSW) and are own Hannah Min Oo, who were presented with School Sport Australian Sportsmanship Awards during the Closing Ceremony.
School Sport Australia, Diving National Secretary Sue Milford also acknowledged and thanked:
• Lorraine Keeney for her major contribution of time and expertise to enable the conduct of the successful event.
• Diving WA for their contribution providing qualified officials.
• The volunteers who gave of their time to assist at the event.
• Kim Hynynen-Furler as Chief Referee and her group of judges for their major contribution.
• With the help from interstate and local volunteers there were skilled personnel to run an efficient event and everyone should be congratulated and thanked.
• Peter Smith and SSWA for volunteering to host the 2018 event and for their hard work in providing an outstanding championship.
Well done to all of the competitors and coaches who took part in this years event.
