School Sport WA, in conjunction with Diving WA, are running the inaugural 2017 Champion School Diving Competition at HBF Stadium on Friday 10th March.

This competition is a great opportunity for your schools athletically talented and acrobatically inclined students. Diving will challenge all participants physically as well as mentally, whilst providing them with new skills and learnings.

Diving is one of the most popular Olympic sports with athletic spins, twists and turns. It is a fun and exciting sport, combining jumping, flexibility, strength and speed. It is a sport for everyone, no matter your skill level or ability, from Primary school age through to Masters.

The Competition will be run with two events:

- Primary

• Years 4 and Under, Year 5 and Year 6); and

- Secondary

• Junior (Years 7 and 8)
• Intermediate (Years 9 and 10)
• Senior (Years 11 and 12)

A diving clinic will also be run before the start of competition, so no matter your diving experience this competition will cater for everyone.
