Lincoln Flindell - Elected Director

Lincoln is a Project Manager in the area of Infrastructure Regulation.  Prior to this he has held a number of accounting-based roles in both the public and private sectors.  Lincoln holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from Murdoch University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. 

Lincoln’s involvement in diving began when his daughter commenced diving in 2020.

Lincoln brings to the board experience in the areas of accounting and finance, strategic planning, governance, and project management. 

Lincoln is keen to ensure that all divers and coaches in Diving WA are given the best opportunities to succeed and considers that a well-run board that leads by example is key to achieving this success

 

 

Jeanne Tan - Elected Director

Jeanne has over 12 years' experience as an accounting and finance professional working across a range of industries including large, listed entities and non-for-profit organisations.   Jeanne holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Jeanne joined Diving WA as a Finance and Audit Committee member in 2022. Since joining the Committee, Jeanne has provided finance and accounting advice and worked with management to deliver short to medium-term financial models. 

Jeanne enjoys volunteering her professional skills and being part of organisations that enrich the wider community. She understands the benefit of sport and keeping physically and mentally healthy. Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, yoga, snowboarding and has played social sports including volleyball and touch rugby.

 

 

Zeljka Abramovic - Appointed Director

Zeljka Abramovic is the Financial Controller/Company Secretary at National Drilling Equipment. Zeljka is an accomplished senior finance executive with over 15 years of accounting, finance, and commercial experience across the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors. Zeljka is a highly qualified, motivated, target-driven professional with outstanding Business Acumen/Business Knowledge.

She brings a strong knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, management accounting, project management, financial reporting, treasury management, project financing, business integration, and risk management.

Zeljka has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), CPA and Master of Business Administration from Deakin University. Zeljka joined Finance and Audit Committee at Diving WA as a graduate from Australian Institute of Company Directors in July 2020

 

 

Chris Straughan - Appointed Director

Chris has worked across multiple industries, Mining and Resources, Government contracts, Oil and Gas, Aged Care, Agriculture, Agribusiness, and Retail.  With this, Chris is recognized for his high level of capability in the knowledge, skills, and experience required to assist organizations in recognising the link between HR issues, business strategy, and performance.  He brings significant experience in the development and implementation of people focused organisational strategies and solutions. 

Chris is currently a People and Capability Manager for the Serco Group, a leading provider of public services across the globe.

Chris has participated and been successful in basketball at a high level for many years and has had many successful top-level results in motorsport. Chris has also personally experienced the benefits of sports at a grassroot and top tier level.

 


 

Eliza Cole - Elected Director

Eliza Cole is a Diving WA life member. She has extensive experience in Diving in WA being involved since the age of 11. Eliza is a masters diver who has represented WA at National (Age, Elite Junior and Open) and International (World Masters) level. She is the current World Masters Champion on all boards in her age group.

Eliza is a Level 6 international judge representing Australia at World Cup level. She is a level 2 diving coach and helped develop the successful adults & teens diving program. Professionally she is a medical doctor and is the chief medical officer at an energy company.

 

 

 

 Adam Versaci - Appointed Director

Adam is a commercially minded corporate lawyer who specialises in corporate transactions, governance and commercial contracting having obtained experience in Australia and internationally. Prior to becoming a lawyer Adam, worked as a business development manager for a national facility management company and in stockbroking and business banking. As well as Bachelor of Laws, Adam also holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia. 

In addition to the legal skills obtained in legal practice across multiple jurisdictions, Adam has strong business and commercial acumen developed in nearly a decade of working in a business-to-business environment and engaging directly with stakeholders from numerous sectors. As a lover of sport and as a father of two small children, Adam understands the importance of sport and physical wellbeing in the development of young people.
