State Competition Requirements

1. ROBYN BRADSHAW SHIELD
Interclub team event – 3 m.
Teams comprise of 4 members from the one club:
1 Diver 19 years and over, who performs 5 dives from at least 3 groups
1 Diver 16/17/18 years, who performs 4 dives from at least 3 groups
1 Diver 14/1 5 years, who performs 3 dives from at Least 2 groups
1 Diver 12/13 or younger, who performs 3 dives from at least 2 groups
If necessary to complete a team, a lower age group Diver may compete in a higher age group, but not vice versa.

2. RAELENE TILBROOK TROPHY
A 1 or 3 m competition where divers perform – 4 dives from at least 3 groups.
Individual trophy event open to Divers who are in their first year as a FULL Diving Member with this or any other Diving Association or an 11/u diver who has not previously competed in this event.

3. WARRILOW SPROULE CUP & CONSOLATION PLATE
This is a 3 m springboard competition with men and women competing in the same event. Divers are seeded by the State Selectors 1- 12 and these seeded divers will compete in a “knockout” tournament similar to a tennis tournament, consisting of first rounds, quarter finals, semi finals and a final. Those not seeded in the 12 will dive in the consolation plate event, as will seeded divers defeated in the first rounds. All contests comprise of 10 dives ( 5 dives from different groups with a D.D. limit of 9.5 plus 5 dives from different groups without limit of D.D.)  Dive lists should be in 3 days before the event but divers may change their lists immediate following any tournament contest.

4. CHRISTMAS INVITATIONAL
Both platform and 1/3m event, open age group, 5 dives without limit.

5. INTERCLUB COMPETITIONS
Age groups as per the “Age” Stream (see "membership")
Open (includes “elite” squad members)
16-18 years
14/15 years
12/13 years
11/U years
Novice
"Learn to Dive" – open to children participating in the "Learn to Dive" program.

1 or 3m, any 5 dives
Novice and "Learn to Dive" 1 or 3m, any 3 dives

6. ANY STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS, or SIMILAR QUALIFICATION EVENT – IN  OPEN, AGE OR JUNIOR ELITE
Rules and qualification are as per the Diving Australia rules for this event, as outlined in the WADA Selection Policy and Criteria.
